On Saturday, September 21, 2019, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a Bellevue man was arrested on a warrant on East Avenue in Ketchum, Idaho that later resulted in both felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
While patrolling the downtown core, a deputy from the Ketchum Police Division of the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office came in contact with Kyle Nicholas Callaghan, age 28. Upon determining that Callaghan had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Ada County, the deputy placed him under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, controlled substances were located on his person. Callaghan was booked into the Blaine County Detention Center on two felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule II, I.C. 37-2732(c)(1) and one misdemeanor count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Schedule IV, I.C. 37-2732(c)(3) and a misdemeanor warrant from Ada County. Bond was set at $2,600.
