On Sunday, March 8, 2020, at approximately 7:51 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff”s Office deputies responded to a motor vehicle collision on Broadford Road and Trout Lane in Bellevue, Idaho.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a white Ford Ranger resting on the north side of the roadway which had crashed into the east side of the Broadford Bridge. The Bellevue Marshal was already on the scene. The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was identified as Karen Dawn Morrison, age 62 of Hailey, Idaho. Upon investigation, Morrison was arrested for Felony Driving Under the Influence Excessive, I.C. 18-8004(C). Morrison has two prior DUI convictions in 2010 and 2011.
Morrison was arraigned in Blaine County Magistrate on Monday, March 9, 2020, where her bond was set at $1,500. Morrison’s vehicle was towed from the scene with moderate damages.
