[ARCHIVED] Blaine County announces new way to apply for ARPA funds

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into law on March 11, 2021, establishing the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF), and delivering $350 billion to state, local, and Tribal governments across the country to support their response to and recovery from COVID-19. Between 2021 and 2022, Blaine County expects to receive nearly $4.5 million in federal funding, which must be spent on eligible expenditures by 2026.

In an effort to facilitate the deployment of remaining SLFRF funds into our community, the Blaine County Board of Commissioners have created an application process for members of the public to submit eligible proposals for consideration. Applicants will need to complete an ARPA Funding Request Form, available on the County’s website, with a detailed project description, draft budget, and any supporting documents.
