On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at approximately 1:25 a.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of stolen property at a residence in Ketchum, Idaho.
Deputies discovered the residence had a home security camera mounted outside of the home. The victim produced a security video showing an adult male leaving the residence carrying a yellow DeWalt miter saw and a small black bag. According to the victim, the black bag contained two Fein Multimaster handsaws. The total value of all four items stolen was reported to be $1,985.
Marcos Fernando Diaz Pozo, age 24 of Ketchum, Idaho, was later identified by a social media posting by the victim, and subsequently arrested on June 9, 2022, and charged with Grand Theft, I.C. 18-2407. Diaz Pozo was arraigned in Magistrate Court on June 10, 2022, where a bond of $5,000 was ordered. Diaz Pozo was released from the Blaine County Detention Center after posting bond on June 11, 2022, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 21, 2022.
