On Thursday, July 28, 2022, at approximately 4:55 p.m. Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies received a notification to be on the lookout for a stolen vehicle out of Shoshone, Idaho.
The vehicle was described as a bronze 2002 Honda Civic last seen traveling north on State Highway 75. Deputies located the vehicle on State Highway 75 and conducted a traffic stop on Honeysuckle Street in Bellevue, Idaho.
Upon investigation, Andrea Marie Jilleen Sohns, age 45 of Hailey, Idaho was arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, I.C. 49-228, and misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence (Controlled Substances), I.C. 18-8004(1)(D). Sohns was also cited for Failure to Purchase a Drivers License, I.C. 49-301.
Sohns was arraigned in Magistrate Court on Friday, July 29, 2022. She is currently being held in the Blaine County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond. The vehicle was released back to the owner. No damage to the vehicle was reported.
