On Thursday, November 17, 2022, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash on Little Creek Rd. approximately 1.75 miles from Austin Rd. in Carey, Idaho.
Crash scene investigation that a 2011 silver Dodge Ram 3500 truck was traveling southbound on Little Fish Creek Rd near the Water Cress campground when for an unknown reason it went off the west shoulder of the road after a sweeping left turn. The truck rolled approximately four and half times down a steep mountain before coming to rest on its roof at the bottom of the canyon.
All three occupants were ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. A 41-year-old female backseat passenger from Twin Falls, Idaho walked several miles to report the crash. She was later taken by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Pocatello for her injuries. The two front seat passengers, Royce LeWayne Fuller, age 63, and Adan Tito Cantu, age 48, both of Twin Falls, Idaho, were found deceased at the bottom of the canyon near the vehicle. Fuller is believed to have been the driver.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
